You get $50 on a mobile app or a card to spend on locally grown produce and herbs. You can choose to use an app on your phone or get a physical card. You use it at participating farmers markets.

Who can use it: You must be 60 years old or older, live in Ohio, and have income at or below the poverty line. Call the agency Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm, or Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 5:00pm to ask about income limits.
Languages: English on-site. Other languages by phone.
What to expect: You apply online or in person. If approved, you can download an app showing your $50 or get a physical debit card to use at select farmers markets. You need to renew your application each year. Approval is not guaranteed. The agency website has a list of participating farmers markets.
