You get $50 on a mobile app or a card to spend on locally grown produce and herbs. You can choose to use an app on your phone or get a physical card. You use it at participating farmers markets.

Who can use it
You must be 60 years old or older, live in Ohio, and have income at or below the poverty line. Call the agency Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm, or Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 5:00pm to ask about income limits.

You apply online or in person. If approved, you can download an app showing your $50 or get a physical debit card to use at select farmers markets. You need to renew your application each year. Approval is not guaranteed. The agency website has a list of participating farmers markets.
