FAMICOS Foundation offers 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with rent that costs less than the usual market price. It is free to apply. You pay a fixed rent each month, which is generally lower than what other apartments cost.

Who can use it: You must be 18 years old or older and meet minimum income requirements. This is not for people who need emergency housing right now.
Languages: English on-site. Other languages by phone.
What to expect: Call or visit in person during business hours to fill out a prospect card. This card keeps you on a waiting list if an apartment opens up. There is often a waiting list for this program. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
